ABOUT DAIRY FREE FUDGE
There are two types of fudge:
Devon Set Devon set is creamy, smooth and soft.
Scottish Set Scottish fudge is cooked at higher temperatures and results in a harder more crumbly texture.

Our fudge is Devon set.
Our fudge is made in small 60 kg batches. We still use a double jacket copper boiler. The water running through the inner and outer surface cools the fudge slowly which allows for a creamy texture to develop.
You may notice some colour variation between packets, this is due to various things- it could be a temperature variation in the atmosphere whilst cooking the different batches. It could be a variation of moisture content in the air. We choose to keep the variations – it does not affect the taste and is part of the hand batched process.

Our Coconut Ice looks different!!
That’s because not only is it suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans but it is also free of nasty colourings. The pink part is flavoured with a special recipe made in Italy using raspberries. You can taste the raspberry flavour coming through.

We look at every detail and our aim is to produce a product which has that great traditional taste.
